Minimum Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric).
- PSIRA Grade C Certification.
- Knowledge of physical security procedures, safety legislation, and security frameworks.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Problem-solving ability and good interpersonal relations.
- Capable of planning and organizing security activities.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to operate and monitor security equipment.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements in a government or institutional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the building.
- Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and property.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to security alerts.
- Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
- Support security operations during weekends and after-hours when needed.
